| Are those real plants? They look really good in your tank. I hope I can get a bigger tank some day. Yours is so beautiful. | |

Thanks! They are all fake plastic plants I bought at Michaels, Joann's and Hobby Lobby.... I bought from different stores to get the different varieties of plants... - Orthidox wrote:

Those are F1 Burundi Frontosa's They grow over 12 inches so you have to have a big tank for them. Once they are bigger I hope to purchase an acrylic 280 gallon. If not I'll sell them. | |

| Most of the peacocks are yours. (3) Red Shoulders and (2) German Reds... Coloring up nicely...and getting brighter with each day. I'll post close ups of your fish so people can see. :) | |

| The tank looks great and you can never fail with plants from michael's. At least they won't die. The fronts will be fine in that tank for about 3-4 years. Once they start spawning they will still be ok. I have a friend of mine that had 1 male at 12 inches and 6 females in his 125 and the spawned like crazy. You should get and egg tumbler though since the male will harass the females when they are holding and cause them to spit the eggs/fry. | |
