First topic message reminder :

My albino cories laying eggs on the side of the tank!
My cory saga - Page 5 265353
This is in my 10gal tank that I was using for my rescued cories to fatten them up. All of them but the 3 albinos had been moved over to my 75gal about a week ago. during the 2 week QT time that I had all 10 in there I had been doing massive water changes 20%-50% and feeding shrimp pellets and frozen bloodworm's. still on the same feeding regiment. They had a decent sized water change 2-3 days ago about 30% 2 helpings of frozen bloodworms yesterday.
I have pictures and 2 videos of it I will put them up later after their done.

How long should I leave them in the tank? Do the males have to fertilize the eggs or is that done prior to laying? I will move them to my 20gal for the time being I guess. I know they will eat the eggs and thats all I know

I think these cories are about 4-5yrs old.

So My tank count is at 7 10gal's and 2 20gal longs. I need to get 5 more 10's and build my rack and maybe some more 20 longs and rack them. I also have a 30gal I may get another and build a 2 decker rack for them. I think that will give me the tank space needed for breeding?

Well the fry are now on just crushed flake food. I did a slow transition from the baby brine shrimp to soaked crushed flake.
I will get more pics up soon.... They are growing really fast now!

I have no idea. Its very hard to count that many cory fry. Last count was 240. I had some fatality's 15ish of them. I also have 10ish bronzes in a 10g tank and 15ish albinos in another 10g tank.... Your welcome to come and try to count them though lol!

I started sorting them out by size into 3 10g's last night One each for small medium and large.
So far the count is at 75. I still have many more to move though...... I may have to use 6 10g's with how many there are. But I want my 55g back cry I don't want it to be a fry tank anymore.

Roughly 2- 3" Some get bigger some are smaller. I can get a rough measurement of mine when I get home of mine. Yes they are great scavengers. They won't eat rotten food though. But they are cute hyper fish. Think of a young kid on a sugar high and you have the personality of Corydoras
The 2 that I have breeding now are Corydoras paleatus (the albino variety) and Corydoras aeneus (the bronze)

I think after I grow these guys up I won't save another batch of eggs for a while. I'm just losing too many of the fry for no reason.
I've moved most of the fry into my 20g show tank hoping that they will do better in a well established planted tank with a real filter.
