Found one in my tank this morning! Is this a mini sea star, or will it possibly grow? Again, no pics.... I'm so helpful, aren't I? It's maybe a half inch from one tip to another and was trucking along the back glass of the aquarium. I'm assuming it came in on a frag of polyps I bought last month, but this is the first I've seen of it! Kind of a cool surprise at any rate. :)

awe what a cute pic......Not...Girl you are NO HELP AT all... JK are the legs irregular? I've never had one get bigger then a dime but I did have an over population of them and they began eating my corals so I bought the Harlequin shrimp to wipe them out. now dont worry you probably will never have this problem. you should really start dipping your corals before putting them in your tank just to be on the safe side..

LOL Cindy! I could DRAW you a pic if you want.... lol!
Seriously, tho... I put a dime up next to it and it's not even close to being that big. LOL!! I believe it's a species of Asterina?? I don't mind it being in there, and I don't have any SPS's... LOTS of copepods and critters crawling all over the aquarium glass, so maybe that will keep the little sucker happy for a while.

I found another itty bitty slug today too...so that makes 2 big and 2 small ones. I may be skimming those off soon, too, but for now they are doing a kick butt job at keeping the nuisance algae under control. I don't know what these are either, but I'd be happy to draw these as well. TEE HEE! Ok, JK! funny

Gonna have to order some reef bugs soon...got myself a Scooter Blenny today! :) It's not a Mandarin, but I can't find anyone who carries ORA Mandarins. I have a feeling that between the Asterina and the Blenny, I will be needing to replenish the bug population pretty soon. :)

I PROMISE I will get pics eventually! My friend wasn't able to get pics for me, and I still owe Whisper pics of Chi!!! LOL!
