I have recently got a dogfaced puffer that refuses to eat. Have tried various foods, nothing. I read that you can sometimes rub food on their mouth and get a response. That's not happening, it just pisses him off. Anyone have any suggestions?

what are you feeding him?

also how big is he
how long has he been in your tank and what are his tank mates?

He's now eating ghost shrimp, but would love to wean him off live food. Any idea of an easy ay to do that? I've done it for Lionfish before, but he is a bit more finicky.

well he is eating so thats a good thing.. id say itll just take time eventually he'll be greedy like most ans start eating what the rest are. whatever you did for the lion try that

you can also try feeding him silversides, krill, and prawns.
