so i have a community tank and just moved them from a 30 bow front to a 55 gal, im sitting there watching them and my rainbow shark attacks my angel fish. im so mad, i love my angels. my freind is taking the shark to his house tomarrow and i hope my angel fish survies.

They are super aggresive fish. These are another one of those fish that they don't tell you about in the stores. Looks cute small but they can SUCK!

They can definitely be aggressive. You always see a community tag on them in the box stores but never much about aggression. Sorry to hear about your angel.

well the angel is some where in the sewage system,the shark wasnt aggresive until i switch them in to another tank. i dont have the shark anymore either. i did go buy jon's house and bought a new angel and he seems to fit in well with my others so, i guess i learned a leason the hard way. trail and error is not really how i like to learn things about fish but it works in some cases.

often times you never know whats going to happen until you put it all together. often times its said to never mix SA cichlids with African but i folks that have done so. basically experimentation on things that folks say you cant do might actually work out beautifully.

yea i was going to try and put my discus in my big tank with my bichirs, because my little bichir is in my community tank with my angels and doesnt bother them, and i want to get my discus out of my 30 so i can go saltwater
