Dont have much done yet but added my new lights and some more rock. Got the 20 tall tank and stand with 2 damsels a hermit, live sand and about 10lbs of live rock, heater, filter stand and generic light fixture for $30 off craigslist, even the water that was inthe tank. I added new t5 ho lights last night and about 15lbs of figi live rock and some 5 nasarrius snails but have yet to see them move, maybe i killed them? have no clue. I am not sold yet on the black sand but hopefully it grows on me. Hope to eventually add some coral after I add a skimmer and get rid of this filter. I might just dump the filter and let the rocks do the filtering for me.

Invest in a rodi and make your own water. So convienient and will save in the end. Looks like a good start.

I would get some fiji pink live sand to down the black but that is just me looks really good. all you need now is a hob skimmer, and a hydor k-nano power head. you want to keep the power filter, that will act as your chemical and mechanic filter.
