| i LOVE the way the black sand looks!!!!! it looks great! just get a power head or 2 you dont need a skimmer just make sure you on top of water changes every week and youll be ok! dont need to get all technicall keep it simple. what else do you plan on having in their? | |

| Invest in a rodi and make your own water. So convienient and will save in the end. Looks like a good start. | |

| I would get some fiji pink live sand to down the black but that is just me looks really good. all you need now is a hob skimmer, and a hydor k-nano power head. you want to keep the power filter, that will act as your chemical and mechanic filter. | |
