| I think i payed .49 cents each for the 2 i got. I saw a bunch plus some big ones in a petco tank, and when I told him i wanted the big ones, the guy said they werent feeders, they were bamboo shrimp. Amazingly the only sign said ghost shrimp, he wouldnt give them to me, but they were 4.99 each, so i said nevermind. Im thinking of starting a 10g plant tank since my plants are enroute via taiwan, maybe i'll buy a few and breed them I havent seen them since i put them in last night, either got eaten or being ghost, lol. | |

| Petsmart has them for 25 cents each... Walmart has them for 24 cents each. They are hard to breed because they need muddy water. Once the babies hatch, they are so small that they need micro organisms to feed on...tank water is too clean for the babies to survive. I might try to breed a handful in my pond next season and see how it turns out... so many projects, so little time. | |

| Thanks for the info, the 2 petsmarts near me dont sell them, so ive been feeding my fish feeder golds and minnows. I went to keller farms the other day bought 2 dozen rosies, and a dozen goldfish, ate lunch with the family at home, left for about 2 hours and when I came back, they had all been eaten already. Im trying to turn my fish onto cichlid and flake food, otherwise theyre gonna eat me out of my house! | |

| Why don't you buy a few Marbled crays from me and raise your own CLEAN feeders. They are easy to breed and grow pretty quickly. A normal batch of babies is 250, more as momma gets bigger. | |

| WallyWorld here use to have the Ghost shrimp for 9cents each. the workers hated having to count them out.. so they would normally just scoop out a net full and call it 50 LOL actually most of the time it was lots more.. But, they stopped carrying the shrimp and feeder golds.. lol | |
