I adopted this fish about a month ago, the poor thing was in a 15 gal. tank, it is almost as big as my Oscar. So I put it into my 125 with Caesar and they get along great : )

Its an American cichlid, the face isn't quite right for a uaru..... Looking at the mouth he looks like an herbivore or omnivore.

I believe he is a herbivore, I have special veggie type food just for him, he doesn't touch any carnivorousness food (like jumbo shrimp, high protein pellets etc.)

I was think if possible a uaru hibryd
but found a picture from a heros severum a lot similar so Kory you rigth No Idea what this is. 393849

im positive that its a green severum! the face could just be a lil beat up or somthin like from lack of care for the lil guy
i have 5 A+ green severums from KMX!! their each like 4.5" i love em:)
