WOW Baby CAJUN Crawfish Arrived

I purchased some of the Marmorkrebs or marbled crawfish from Phil (bristlenosedude) at the USA march auction. Kept 4 of them in a 10g tank, feeding and water changes and watching them molt over and over. Today i saw a few fry swimming in the water... wait a minute, no fish in that tank! lol! Wow Baby crawfish swimming around.. Checked the filter media, wow more baby crawfish. Glad i didnt change that media before i noticed the babies. I picked around till i found about 25 babies and put them in a bowl of water. YEA baby Cajun Crawfish. Okay i promise to grow them out and NO CRAWFISH BOIL I promise! haha

Good job. As they get to 4" you will have 250+ with each spawn. Watch her and move her to a separate a bowl as the eggs get close to hactching. I make her drop the babies when they begin to start dropping from her tail so they don't get in the tank with the adults. My africans love them some baby crawdads.
