| a 29 would be fine for now, but a full grown Fulleborni can reach 6". When fully mature you may run into aggression from the male beating up on the females. | |

| Yeah. I agree with vman. Diet is very important when breeding. Heavy foods like spirulina, frozen bloodworms, live blackworms, and live or frozen brine shrimp. Also, be more frequent with small water changes. Fish will only breed if the water quality is up to par. Plus, when they do breed, you want to be able to leave the tank alone for a week or so until you have free swimming fry. | |

| Mine started breeding at about 4". They need plenty of hiding spots. I had one male and three females. When a female would hold I put her in a breeding net until she spit.
Now I am breeding 2 types of trewavasae and they are in pairs and breed about once every three months, and I have had no problems. I find both these species to be fairly easy to breed and raise.
Tanks size I would do a 29 for now, but they will need at least a 55 sometime in the near future.
Good luck! | |
