No Demasoni (love them but trust them less than nearly ANY other african!!)

Very nice tank. Wish I could name them. I'm not that experienced yet!

I'm not 100% sure but I think the females are the ones with the splochy spots.

You know what...I you might be right now that I'm looking at him more closely. He MAYBE Pseduotropheus Demasoni! When I bought it, it looked like a female Kenyi, but now I'm not so sure. If so - wow. That would mean I picked up a Demasoni for only $6. Gotta be wrong!

Then again - I better figure it out for sure before he matures. Don't want him goig berserk and killing everyone else.

Nope - little guy only about 2 inches AT MOST. We picked him up at Wal-Mart for less than $6. The intention was to get 2 female Kenyi to see if that would chill out the male who was turning super aggressive. He's chilled, but never seemed to interested in this little one. Maybe there's more than a reason than just maturity.

Their Africans are, of course, labled "African Cichlids." Not that they would know anyway...

True. It might be a Kenyi but you never know with wall-mart. Everything is just a assorted cichlid.
