I've robbed driftwood, plants, and substrate from other tanks to set this one up. The stem plants I have in there should fill in quickly. You think this would suffice? I do have some plastic groundcover plants I could add in there if need be. Angelfish is only in there to keep the cycle until I can order the shrimp. You think this is good enough?

Thanks, it's a 25 gallon. This tank got started because my husband saw sunkenmetal's cherry shrimp thread. Glad I kept this tank, almost sold it last week.

It looks good. You dont need any plastic plants and that drift wood is perfect for dwarf shrimp lots of cracks and holes to hid in.

Now you just need shrimp cheers

looks like you got rotella rounfolia in there it will grow fast with good ferts and good medium- high lighting. the plant on the driftwood, anuias nana is a slow grower. might also want to cover your intake with a sponge so the shrimp don't get sucked up in to the filter.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can get some from Kory, not sure yet. If not, I don't mind waiting because the angelfish is so happy in this tank.

Those stem plants are the only thing I can keep alive long-term. In the past I've killed java moss, guppy grass AND even java fern. Not kidding... I'm gonna probably just cover the intake with pantyhose.
