need help with my catfish

My kids caught 6 tadpole size catfish in the creek near our house this past summer now they are about 3 inches long, my question is are they aggressive fish or are there other types of fish that I can put in the tank with them

Pics of said catfish would help. If they are bullheads, I wouldn't really consider them aggressive. They will however eat any fish small enough to fit in their mouth. As long as the fish are too big for them to eat I would think you should be ok adding them to your tank.

Cats are opportunistic feeders. They will scavenge or hunt . They will eat anything alive if they can get it down their gullet . I would not put anything in the tank with them that isn't at least 1 and 1/2 again as big as the cats.

Agree with what has been said so far. Catfish are scavengers, and predators. They will eat live and dead food. If it is smaller than the catfish's mouth it will eat it.
