Looked in on my L046 breeding pair Christmas day and WOW,,saw some little black/white frys in the cave with Dad,, Nice Christmas present I got.. Not sure on how many, it is the pairs 1st spawn but looks like around 8 or more moving around in there.. Can't wait till they start coming out..

If you really want to know...I went down to Florida for 1 week. left my Tanks in Hubbys care,, He never turned the light on in my fishroom for 5 days but did feed them. I just noticed the little ones in the cave Christmas day. Was giving up on the pair that I purchased in April. Beginning to think I had 2 males... LOL.. Anyway I guess love was in the air with the lights off....

Turning the lights off sometimes with Plecos and other catfish works well because they are more active at night. Very nice job!

Wow congrats I have 12 split into 2 groups and getting 8 more in jan. What were your water parameters? also is your tank hi flow?

Hi, Ok My TDS is 134 and my Temp. is 85 I live in the country so using well water. I do not test the PH or others. My L046 frys are starting to come to the openning of their cave,. Hope to get pictureds soon
