Placidochromis Phenochilus Tanzania

Well I've been working with this group for 2 years now and they have giving me plenty of fry I keep them in a 125g tank with a sand bed and flat holey rock that they love to breed in. Here are a few pics that Id like to share of the males.

Very bright and colorful. NICE FISH!

these are amazing fish. i would have some but they get too big for me.

The one thing I really like about African Cichlids are the colors they display!

Nice! What are your M/F ratios in the 125?

How large do they get?

10" ! I have a pair. Male is 7" and 5" female. The male gets nice pearl as they mature.

Thanks for the comments I have 2m/5f I just picked up an 8" female from a guy whos male died.

Yes got them yesterday. Little smaller than expected but nice fish overall. Was a 3m 3f group but someone whooped tail in the box on the way home. So now I am 3m 2f in the group. Largest male is showing a few spots and is really blue. Hope to see some shakin and bakin going soon.
