A few weeks ago I got 2 angles & 2 female guppies along with a few baby guppies.
Treated them before placing in my tank, all of them acclimated well except the pregnant
female guppy. I kept her in the treatment tank.

It appears the black angle and pregnant guppy have an extra coat of slime on them.
Even over their eyes, which is bothering me. I had not noticed that before when I thought it was
fin rot.

So ive no placed the black angel, 1 male guppy and baby guppy back into the treatment tank.

I did salt, and I just started up my new tank heater the night before.
I also put in a little ick treatment since the male guppy is showing sings of having it.

Treatment tank also went through a water/gravel change/clean 4 days ago.
Now that the gravel is clean (even though there is very little gravel in there)
and now that I have the heater, I think the ick will get gone this time! lol!

Lets hope!

But back to the slime over my angel & pregnant female guppy!

Any ideas? Any links to good sources to learn to spot the diseases?

I would separate the possible ick case from the others.

For the others: Change 50% of water daily, add salt each change, add Tetra Fungus Guard each day. It helps with both fungal and bacterial infections. You should see a change in their condition for the better in 24-72 hours. 24 hours after last sympton dissappears, treat them with stress coat to restore their natural bacterial slime coat.

Ick case - treat as directed on back of medication. Still change most water daily to remove infectious material. After treatment ends - treat with the Tetra Fungus Guard as secondary infections are common.

Did you check for ammonia?.....Sounds like ammonia burn to start with and then a secondary bacterial infection...........Check your tank conditions before you start dunping salt and all the other chemical concoctions in the tank.
