I am curious to know what are good tank mates for a betta. I have a 12 gallon... I have some plants also. I have heard that swordtails and platties are good tank mates, are there any others?

Tetras, guppies or any non aggressive fish would work. I have had them in community tanks with these and they have been fine

Do you have the name of the email or advertisement?

Corys that I should have culled when they were fry, but how can you cull a cory with no eyes that does so well? Ya there are 7 defectives in all that I didn't cull and they now reside with my bettas.
