Got him for my boyfriend for his birthday!

With all the spunk and personality this guy is showing I'm sure he will have a name soon!
He keeps trying to creep up on the corys but they keep dashing away when he gets really close. He's also trying to eat the snails, the ones that are too big he just grabs and flings off the tank walls

Oh fern I'm so glad he went to such a good home. I always worry about my babies when they go. I'm sure he is just having the best time in the tank. He has been in a grow out jar all his life and never had that much room. This is great!.

Was he hungry after his 4 day journey?............Put a mirror up to the glass and he will flare for you.

He is having a blast in the tank! I saw him flair 2 times at the corys till he decided they weren't a threat, now he just creeps up behind them and when he gets really close the corys dart off.
He ate 3 pellets, the first 3 I put in there got swept to the bottom and the corys got them... then I turned the filter off and it worked so much better

Yes that's right Fen. I always shut the filter off when I feed. Very good I feel so good knowing you are taking such good care of my boy. Well yours now but you know what I mean. lol.....Also if you get the time during the day you can feed him three times a day.

The first few days of having a new kind of fish is always a learning experience!

Yes, he has a very good home. I will post plenty of pics every so often so you can watch him grow up too!

Are the females this amusing and intelligent? I have mollys in the 30g with my cory breeders but the mollys are getting quite old and a few have passed on already. Once they all get too old and croak I will be looking for another mid/top dweller for the tank. Do you think 3 female bettas would work well in a 30g with corys, a dojo loach and some kuhli loaches? Does current bother them as much as the males?

Oh yes a group of variouse colors would be great in that tank. Fact they would be ok with the Mollies too. I have females that are sisters and raised together and used to being together.

rdoyal, what all fish do you have in there? The tank looks good but you may want to trim down that java moss and let the other plants get some more light.

WOW rdoyle. That will be a great tank for a Betta. Loads of room to swim around.

He half flairs at the corys from time to time, he also flairs as a method of 'breaking' when he gets up too much speed, its pretty cute. I will try to get a video of him so yall can see how much spunk he has!

Well he just had his first live black worms today and boy that was funny!!! He went all kinds of vicious on them!

ALL FISH loves live black worms... eatem up!
