Just got these beauties yesturday

This first one is a MG Black Lace HM male he's only three months old.


The second one is a Multi Green MG HM male this guy is 1 year old

Oh I keep my hm butterfly male in a 10g with 4 deformed corys, they get along fine for the most part. Sometimes he will start picking on one cory then they gang up and run him off, its cut to watch. His personality is so great, hes intelligent and has a bunch of spunk!

Fern you will love this little guy. He is only about 3 months old so you will get to watch his fins all grow out to be beautiful.

you have cello females? Darn Have no idea why but I love female bettas. LOL

Females can sometimes be just as pretty as the males. If I get a chance in the next few days I'll try to get some pics of the females cellos.

Gorgeous fish! The more I see your bettas and hear everyone's stories about breeding the more I want to try it. I've got a normal(not sure what you'd call him other than that. one of the $3.99 ones) male that's got the most beautiful blue body and fins with a nearly black head. I'd be interested to see if I could develop a good line from him. But I wouldn't begin to know where to start. Keep posting these pics though and I may have to start studying!

How do you breed Betta's when you can not keep them together?? If you keep them together, how big should the tank be?

You only put them together for breeding.
