| Just scored a 29 g w hood, filter, heater, gravel vacuum, and extras for $25 on craigslist . Now what to put in it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Can yellow labs or blue dolphins go in a 29? | |

| Great snag!Congratz!! You could put them in there while there small like 1"to 2" but you couldn't put to many in there and soon they would need a 55g or bigger especially the Dolphins need a at least a 100g or bigger. So good luck and keep us posted and pics what you decide to put in there. | |

| yellow labs will do good as long as you dont over stock. Dolphins get to big. All fish need growing room so you dont stun the growth. I have labs in a 36gl and some in a 75gl they are the same age but the 75gl labs are twice the size. | |

| Thare are some Africans Cichlids that don't get very big maybe 2"to3" at the most and very colorful that you can put in there just make sure you get all males and put alot of hidding places in there.Just ask around and then decide on what you want. | |

| Wow Congrats! I got a 55 gallon tank on craigslist yesterday free and it came with stand, hoods, filtration, heater, 5 fish and holey rock. Not bad if I may say so though. I now want to get rid of my 29 gallon tank thats still brand new but cant find the receipt to return it. So now waiting for my aunt to tell me if she wants it or not with the 3d background that I'm making for it. | |

| If you want to do Cichlids. I would go with some Shellies or Vics. Both do well in 29G from my experiance. | |

Might have to let go of some reptiles to make room | |

| That's why I am always on ALERT when dealing with most people off CL. And I never get excited about something untill I have bought it and know what I have. Sucks when you show up and it's total disapointment. I learned the same way you did. Guy of CL said he has a 120G for $100. Go there and it was a 55G. | |
