cool. i bet they will be fine tho. you wll rant to disinfect them first with a light solution of bleach and let them air dry for a day or two after a good rinsing.

yeah. just make sure all the bleach is gone before adding it to your tank.

I think I may have confused this thread...

I just wanted to make sure you didn't put some rocks in that would have the tendency to flake off or break easily, as this can cloud the water, especially if ther are anything like the red sand stone type rock...

I think the word you were looking for is "brittle". Depending on the fish, sharp edges on rocks can be dangerous. If it is something like river rock, there should be no problem. I have personally used all different kinds of rock in my tanks without issue, as long as I keep any sharp edges located where they won't slice open any fish.

Pour some vinegar on them and if it fizzes it will raise your PH.
Do not pour boiling water on the rocks, they could crack or break.
