Most people with home aquariums get rid of eels once they get around 1 1/2 feet.
They become a threat because they are escape artist and can live out of water for
like 2 or 3 hours. They will also attack in and out of water.

She's better off calling a LFS with a huge show tank (240+).

I forgot to mention that I seen this same eel around Houston for $1200.
