AFTER ALL THE CUTTING WITH MY K-nife, IT WAS TIME FOR THE FUN PART. I WENT DOWN TO MY LOCAL LOWES AND PICKED UP SOME CONCRETE AND TIME TO GET MY HANDS DIRTY.

THE MIXING OF THE CEMENT WAS VERY DUSTY, BUT WHAT DO U EXPECT ITS CEMENT THATS WHAT IT DOES. IT WAS VERY EASY TO MIX.

id do one on my 55 but i dont have enough depth in my tank... only thirteen inches. doing a background in there would mean that i couldnt put any real rocks in there and have enough space for the fish to swim around

ON THIS ROCK WALL THAT IM MAKING I TRIED TO KEEP IT FAT TOWARDS THE TOP OF THE TANK AND SKINNY TOWARDS THE BOTTOM SO THE FISH COULD STILL SWIM AROUND. AND IM ONLY GOING TO BE PUTTING LITTLE TINY FISH IN THERE. HOPEFULLY THERE WONT BE ANY FIGHTING GOING ON.

I would highly suggest coating it with fish safe epoxy of some sort. Some cements are not fish safe and all of them will alter your PH a whole bunch.
Other than that it looks very good!

Um... Not sure, I've never done anything that required coating. Gel coat made for boats comes to mind, just be careful lots of them have anti barnacle stuff in them.

Yup!
I think if you do a little bit of research you should find several types of paint/coatings that are fine to use in the tank.
