Ill start off by saying this may not be the right subject to put this under, but didnt really know where it went, so I thought here was the best. Feel free to move if this is incorrect.

Ok, now about a week ago I realized my toad/newt/fish tank was leaking due to a crack in the side. I dont know where the crack came from or how it happened as it was given to me as a rescue. Due to the fact it was leaking and not holding water, it presented a major problem seeing as everything in the tank needs water. I was planning on getting a 20L sometime down the road as they were given to me in a 10 gallon tank that was disgusting. Well due to the emergency, I started watching CL very carefully and found someone close by selling a 50g with stand, hood, and filter for $40. I promply emailed and as it turned out, the guy just wanted it gone, so told me to come right out. I figured the stand would be rotted or falling apart and since no pics, I figured the tank would be even worse, but to my suprise, everything was in great shape, dirty, but in great shape. I got it home and started putting in a divider for a 60water/40land type setup. I used GE Silicone I window/door caulk and no problems, but allow enough time to dry. Well long story short, it is all set up and I still cant believe the deal Ive gotten again. I think all the animals in there are much more happy now. Hope you guys like the photos and I will keep you posted on the happenings of this tank. Thanks much for reading, Jon

great deal! I want to do a tank like that soon. I saw like a 20 gal long @ the pet store that had a land/water setup, had a salamander/newt (lizards not my specialty lol) and a betta fish, that's it, but it looked really good, made me want a tank like that.
