Nice tanks! I always have to take it with no flash and a dark room with just the tank lights on it seems to work well.

You can get that Betta out of that tiny bowl and put him in with the community tank. One male Betta can be put in a community tank.

Im a little worried about over crowding, tho. The tank is already technically over crowded. Plus the filter is a bit strong, and I have heard bettas prefer slower water.

I am going to be talking to my neighbor in the next few days and see if I can borrow/trade their unused tank (she said she would have given it to me if she knew we were going to get a tank). If I can get it, I will be switching everything around. My community tank will go in the new one (which is bigger), the babies will go in the current community tank, and the betta will be returned to the tank the babies are in.

Yeah, I meant the betta will go in the tank that the babies are currently in (after the babies are moved).

Also, what would be the best way to transfer the babies? Should I try to catch them, bag them, and float them? Should I wait until they are a little bigger? (they dont seem to have doubled in size yet).

With my adult fish I have always had luck using stress zyme anytime I move them, change water, etc. Will that help with the babies as well?

I am a complete newb when t comes to babies. This is my first batch that was not eaten as soon as they were born.
