| I had a bad ratio of platies (1f, 2 males) which, and lately the males have been getting aggressive with each other and hassling the female. The weird thing is that the males were trying to breed with each other at first and ignored the female for the first week I had them. Well, I guess the west hollywood lifestyle turned out not so great, so now they needed some females. Sooo, I decided that I'd go pick up some coral red mickey mouse platys that my lfs had, but when I went, their whole stock were males!! wth? But, I did spot some nice ones at wal-mart, so i picked up a trio of dalmation platys (1m, 2 f), a gold sunset female, and an all red female. I hope this puts an end to the sausage fest in my 30g. I was only able to get some decent shots of the dalmations: Female full of babies with my original platys in the background: Female in front, male in the back: The female is full of babies, their eyes can already be seen: | |

| Nice!!
Been getting some spotted/dalmation platys out of my mickeys lately so been pulling them to a tank of their own to see what they produce. So far have sunsets, white, blues, greens and not sure what to call the other color yet. Okay rambling nice looking platys.

Thank you! I am hoping some of the fry will make it by hiding in the plants. I would like to give some away at the SoCal meetings some day.

| Thanks everyone! I'm very happy with their tank. I put it together in one day, but I recently added another piece of driftwood that has the anubias and windlov growing on it.
Update pics soon... | |
