| I actually was looking at the albino bushynose. They look cool. I definitely want some color in it. I have never heard of Steatocranus. | |

| Steatocranus species is very unique and you can get some wild caught ones for a good price. I have 2 different species. The Irvinei and the Tinanti. Click the video to see the Tinanti. THey are from the Congo River in West Africa. | |

| I really like gold tetras in my dark plant tanks they show up awesome. Guppies for color. Killi fish love plants look awesome just make sure you get non-annuals. Rams and other dwarf Sa cichlids do well in planted tanks. Angel fish, discus, dwarf gromauis. The list goes on and on...most fish love planted tanks it actually gives them a sense of security and you see them out more.
Some fish the avoid...most larger cichlids (oscars, jack dempseys...) silver dollars(they love plants...for breakfast) pacus(see silver $).
Best of luck with it do you know if you want it to be a community tank or a species specific tank. That can help you narrow down your choices.

| Angels LOVE planted tanks. A nice pair of platinums stand out amongst all the green. |

I agree with FishVixen, I love the way my angels look in my 60g planted, and they would be compatible with the rainbow fish.

| I have begun stocking my 60. I have a Pleco (not sure what kind, he came from my brother) 3 Kribensis (Fry from Jessecichlidguy) 3 Dafodil brichardi (Fry from Jessecichlidguy) 3 Tetras (saved from the toilet thanks to my brother) 3 Judiochromis - not sure of the spelling(Fry from Jessecichlidguy) 2 Mystery snails (can't stay off each other) Most of the plants are from Fern some others from my brother (the algae covered ones) [url=https://servimg.com/view/16051606/13] | |

| Thank you all! I found the driftwood at www.customaquatic.com in Oceanside. Best deal around for driftwood and alot of aquarium things. I also got my lights there. I got a 48" T5 light (fixture, bulb and ballast) for $22.00.
