Yeppers, the regular plecos are poop machines! This is some I took out of my tank cuz they were poop'n too much, and this is only after 30 min in the bucket.

| Yeah when iput my medusa pleco in a bucket to move her in a few min there was about that much poop. So it's not worth keeping a fish that poops alot that you never see.
But back to the subject. Where do you guys keep all these big tanks???

I offered, she said any tank given to get will be introduced to her friend the sledge hammer. I might give her a 10 gallon to see if she is serious about breaking it. Maybe if I put some fry in there she'll think they are too cute to kill. haha.

| From a woman's perspective: maybe she feels like you like fish more than her (regardless of whether this is true or not, go with SHE is more important, lol) and maybe if you can involve her in your love of fish and educate her on them so that she understands why you find them so interesting then maybe she can learn to love them like you... Just a thought! Oh yeah, and us girls, love that mushy stuff with gushing feelings and the like- so open up to her on why you like fish and then maybe she'll get into them and you can double your tank collection! jk... If she can't at least acknowledge why you are drawn to fish, maybe she doesn't "get" you... | |

My wife after 2 months of dating was drawn right in. Not as much as me but, she shares my fascination of beautiful fish. Even helps me with water changes(big help).

| I live with my BF and he gave me a whole room for my fish. He likes fish but would rather not know all about them so he buys some and I do all of the maintenance. Well I do make him tote buckets sometimes |

| Yeah it's all my husbands fault I want more tanks. She said to me one day don't you think a fish tank would look good there. I said I will get one but are you sure you want to get me started he said go for it. He had no clue what he was really getting me started on.
He enjoys the fish he like to have them around to look at.He has said you care more about the fish then me. It's not turn but I do enjoy cleaning the tanks and tending to the fish. It's my hobby.
Honestly h0ngkn0t2 I don't think you need any more tanks. Look at this list. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Where do you keep them all. Do you have a tank on every wall of your house?? do you do water changes everyday?

| So I found a 20 gal tank at a thrift store for $7 so I bought it. I just took down my 10 gal and put the 20 gal where it was. I'm waiting for my husband to notice. Now I have my hospital tank back I was useing it for my female blue acara who's a bit mean. I have the 10 gal to treat Sick fish and grow out my 3 fry. I could still take back my 46 gal but I'm not sure where I will fit it. | |

Actually, only 4 of them are show tanks... 125 - African Mixed lake tank in the Living Room (Malawi, Tanganyikans, Victorians) 110 - Tanganyikan Tank in the Study Room (Mpimbwe Frontosa, Leleupi, Julis) 72 - Bowfront Mbuna tank in the Dining Room(Hongi, Lab, Afra, Flavus) 75 - Aggressive Mbuna tank in the Family Room (Crabro, Kenyi, Red Zebra, Chipokae, Electric Blue) The rest are in racks in the Garage or under the bigger tanks enclosed by the stands. I have many tanks because I breed them by species, most of which have their own tanks or are mixed with fish that are different enough to ensure no cross breeding occurs.
