| I been running for three years now a 120 gal f/w with a 29gal home made sump, and you will never regret it, am kinda new posting pictures so Ill try and post a pict on this one, let me measure the pieces of plexi glass I used as cut outs for the 29 sump and ill post those tomorow, the 120 first was used to house my african mix and for the last 4 mos its been a home to my two asagi koi till they go out in the spring. Fern am having trouble on how to post a pic here can you help me. | |

| yeah sumps are great especially where you have fish that you cannot have plants with...put them in your sump toss a light on it ...boom no more algae bloom/no more nitrate problem. All a sump is is a giant bacteria bed in most cases, they also add to the volume of water when calculating tank size so it makes it easier to control your water chemistry. | |

| Sumps are great on any tank, wet/dry, planted, fluidized bed, anything you want to throw down there will work well! |
