A week ago I traded 1large deep water hap and a large dolphin head for a tri of steveni's(1male at about 7inches w/awsome color and 2females at about 5-6inches) What are the pro's and cons for these fish? My first time owning them and I am kinda excited. They are in a 60gl where they will stay. Was this a good trade?

Beautiful fish, just try to keep them speperate, I haven't had very good luck keeping them with other fish. Another plus is that they seem to have a lot of fry 40-50.

Pics!

I wonder why he would trade them? Were they proven breeders? Sometimes adults will stop at a late age.

I'd say the deal could go either way depending if you value spawning the taiwan or colorful males. If it were me I'd go with the big hap Electra and dolphins cause I have no interest spawning Taiwans.
