PostSubject: What do you use to fert crypts and swords?   What do you use to fert crypts and swords? Icon_minitime10/5/2010, 12:18 pm

Just wondering what my options are? I've done a bit of research on the net, but there is so much info to sift through, I thought I'd just ask some of you guys that have been doing this a while. Thanks.

I use Seachem flourish and flourish iron liquid. be sure you have the right lighting for the swords you have. I have naturally planted tanks so I do not use full doses.

I use Seachem Plant Tabs in the gravel near the sword's roots and also dose weekly with the liquid Seachem Flourish.

Hagen puts out plant tabs that last for 12 mos and I've seen the results....the LFS in Flower Mound, Rift 2 Reef, carriers them or you can order on-line

I use RootMedic's root caps, as well as RootMedic's Micro/Macro solutions on my 100G and 10G. I just use Seachem flourish liquid on my other tanks...they are much lower light and not as plant focused.

I used the product Tanya suggested and got REALLY impressive results with my swords. I also have used rootmedic tabs, and like someone suggested earlier, swords need iron.
