Never heard of it so I googled it.
Apparently there are different kinds of Midas.
I saw a bunch that looked like yours and this one too:

thats not a midas. thats a haitiensis. what i sold starting over is a F1 barred amphilophus citrinellum

I had 1 years ago that would bite at the glass if you touched it.
He killed a Red Devil and a Jag of mine. Guess he wanted to be alone.
