He has tons of iron in his well water, which gives it the greenish brown tint.

Look at this thread New here, old to fish. - Page 2 240g-tank-and-sump-the-redneck-way-t2173 You'll see the Hard tannic water I have my cyto mooriis in, all the plants filter the water great but make it super tannic crazy But they breed like rabbits so they must be happy!

All it takes to get the gobys is itty bitty hooks and some chicken skin!
