With the art of photography comes the many opinions of others... Some good and some bad. It is not a question of it being a good picture. It is more of an idea that people will choose what ever picture they connect with. Therefore many have seemed to connect with the mandarin goby without a tail.

That is why contest are so interesting.

Most/all the people here own a reg camera or use a phone camera so the picture quality isnt that high. Thats a BIG factor for me to vote. Even if the picture is awesome, but its blurry, then its no bueno for me.

Are we really going to sit here and complain about what pictures get picked and which ones dont? Try narrowing it down from 30+ pictures and see if you make everyone happy.

I think you are doing a good job as well Rachael. Like my previous comment stated, its a contest and that is what makes it fun. Everyone get over it and suck it up. We are all adults here. We all love fish here and lets connect through that.
