Tinanti Slim Buffalo Head

I took this pic. This is the Tinanti in one of Dave's show tank in the front of the store.

I purchased 6 of these F0 from DRAF. I have been watching them close. They are mainly at the bottom of the tank but like to hover from time to time. The dominate male seems to already taken over a place under the sponge filter. He dose not let anyone in that area and he NEVER leaves his area. When it comes time for feeding he will only leave for a split second and then rush back to make sure nobody has taken his territory. The Tinanti is VERY quick and very sneaky. From what I know they Like a lower PH and a temp around 78-82. The Tinanti is from the Congo River which is the deepest river in the world! (Depths up to 750 feet deep) The Congo River is the second largest river in the world. The Tinanti location is not very specific b/c of the range of the Congo River. Lake Tanganyika is the only lake connected to the Congo River out of the 3 main African Cichlid lakes. The Tinanti's aggression level is mild and can be kept with most Africans. I have been feeding them Danichi seeking pellets and they seem to be in love. More pics coming later!
