| Are they compatible with yellow tangs and clownfish in a 55? I know they are mean and at any moment can snap, but yellow tangs are purdy fast. | |

| I would fear for the clownfishes life! Clowns aren't fast swimmers and most of them aren't very aggressive... and all of this is assuming your GSP has been brought up to marine conditions from brackish water... | |

I do not think I would put them together nor have I ever seen them together the brackish to sw part is quite important as well | |

| i have two perc clowns and a green spotted puffer in my salt tank and well the clowns pester the puffer all the time!! They tend not to like him getting too close. Go figure | |

You add saltwater of a higher salinity very slowly to your tank thereby upping your Specific Gravity (SG) by about .001 per week so as not to blow your Biological Filter. Bacteria is more sensitive than fish... who knew! | |

| you may be able to acclimate them over a period of about 24-48 hours (longer being preferable), I've heard of this being done, but you have to have an already cycled tank ready at the proper SG (1.020 - 1.023) because puffers die during cycling due to being scaleless. | |
