Another thing to keep in mind is that when you use any type of the soft tubing for youe water into the sump is to twist that a little so you dont get a toilet sound. Twisting it causes a spiral effect and keeps it quiet.

i did not twist the airline tubing at all and my drain is silent (dont believe me ask tanya she saw my 90 the other day and saw my DIY standpipe on it and i am sure she did not hear anything LOL)

Sometimes it happens and some times it dont. It was just an informational post, in case someone comes up with that problem. Its just something to keep in the back of your head for future reference

thanks for the add tim, i personally have never come up wiht it buti tis great to know for future reference, also i little larger diameter airline tube also would work to allow or air into the
