| First topic message reminder :hey all, as you know i have gotten lucky enough to have spawned discus in my community tank a few times. seems like that was the easy part. the hard part is raising them to young juvies. or so i read. so heres the start of it all.

| I think most angel and discus spawns you lose the weak fry it's just nature weeding them out. |

| so the same routine, change water, feed fish. i will chage water tonight right before bedtime.also wiped down the tank, had no choice. SLIME EVERYWHERE. no dead fry today. hooray! the aprents are trading off on feeding there fry, its a cool site, but one of the parents get irrataded and swims away and comes back.
they look the same size, maybe a grain size of sand bigger. idk

| so the sponge filter is back in the tank. the fry are getting bigger, you can tell there are a few runts left in the group. i guessing like 150 fry. its really hard to count.
same as always 2 w/c a day, the parents are fed once a day.i going to start BBS thurs night. wish me luck! | |
