| Just walked past the tank and the water is starting to cloud up on my....wonder if its part of cycle or if something else is happening | |

| it could be from the rock. sometimes they off gas or are kind of powdery and dissolve in the water quickly if they were not clean properly. this is rare and should last long.

Thats what caused mine to turn UBER cloudy. I'm doing 50% water changes for the next week b/c the site is so ghastly. I would a microcloth like Fern suggested but I couldn't find any at petstore. | |

| Did you wash the gravel and holey rock off? The holey rock can be pretty dirty at times. | |

The gravel was washed and the holey rock that is posted above is not in the tank yet.....however i did soak it in a bleach/water solution for exactly 2 weeks and then pressure washed it 2 different times | |

| That's what I did too. Scrubbing it with a toothbrush makde it cleaner but it dissolved it fairly quicker | |

| Walmart. $5 for one of those jugs. There's not alot of carbon in my other tanks so it lasts me a month. | |
