| You did wash everything before you put it in? List of tank contents and filters?
Hopefully we can get your cloud figured out soon! |

Worry about it or just let it go on its own? Also should I run the polishing pads or no?

| I have the fluval water polishing pads that I was using and it cleared the tank up with no issue. I took them out and it clouded back up.....I think I am going to go get some cheap experimental fish to test the water | |

| Yeah put them back in if it helped. Go to your LFS and get the "assorted african" They usually are hybrid anyways And use them as testers | |

| I want to blame the holey rock as well. I think once you get more biology going on in the tank it will clear up. Run the polishing pads for another week. I agree on getting 1-2 tester fish. But I would get something you would like to have in the long run. |

| I really just think it is new tank syndrome. It sound likes everything you used was new which means it has no bacteria built up. This will cause foginess. I haven't read through all these pages so if everything is new try adding a couple handfuls of used gravel from an established tank. Or use some filter media out of an established tank. | |

| They have an old established filter running on the tank. |

Oh... I should have read it... Well man then i would maybe go with the Holey Rock like everyone else. Unless you didn't rinse off the rocks, plants, or holey before putting it in.. In that case just sit and wait. Honestly i would just sit and wait anyways and be patient it will clear. I like the "Asst. African" idea. Maybe like 3 or 4 of those guys for a few days.

| I really think that once you have some biological action going on in there that it will clear right up. Have you been feeding the tank? Feeder guppys would be good as a first fish add, get like a dozen or so. |

Feeder guppys would be good as a first fish add, get like a dozen or so. No....I have only added and entire bottle of bacteria to establish it in the filters

| Ok, most bottled bacteria is dead and therefore useless. The bacteria needs something to eat or it will die. Add a pinch of flake food each day. I hate to say it but your tank isn't cycled at all. Anything growing on your filters has died of starvation by now. Even empty tanks need to be fed to keep them cycled....... |

Even empty tanks need to be fed to keep them cycled....... DAMN IT!!!!! I knew something was up.....I just figured that since I added the old media that it would be good. Also I have never had this issue before
