75g Cichlid

75 is on its way to be up and running and ready for the moori to arrive....will post pics as i progress.....Holey rock is currently basking in the sun

Everything is up and running.....water is good.....it gets cloudy every once in a while...no clue why....i have a buddy that just moved so i am holding his oscars for him....i am just waiting for my moori from kory

Really?? We have never had cloudy water in a new tank. . .hmmmmm. Beginners luck.... ;)

Some tanks will some tanks wont, its kind of a luck of the draw. My old 20g tank still gets cloudy moments but never a chemistry issue. But then again what it looks like has never bothered me much as long as the fish are happy I am happy!

OK.....I know it has been a while since I have posted an update so here we go:
Well the tank and water are in great condition. I have been stocking it for a little while now(sorry for not posting pics). The current stock list is:
(6) Cyrtocara moorii
(1) Altolamprologus compressiceps (Gold Head)
(4) Cynotilapia afra (Cobue)
(1) Labidochromis sp. "Hongi"

I know ....I will post some tonight!!

What do you think of the types of fish??? Am I headed down the wrong path in the future with this mixture of fish?

Labidochromis sp. "Hongi" can be quite aggressive especially to other fish that have the same markings as them.

Ok so i just woke up to a disaster!!!! I have no clue what happened but I went to feed my fish and all my moorri and my glodhead were sitting there stiff....the cobue and the hongi are fine.....checked my water temp to see if there was something that happened over night and it is still at 77*.....water reading came out normal....I dont know what happened .....I am currently running carbon through the filter so it can pull out anything that may have gotten in there

thanks guys......yeah it really sucks......so much money down the drain....i have to get to the bottom of this problem

I make matters worse....My impellar shaft just broke, its 9pm, no one is open and therefore i have no filteration system now

Thats why you always keep a spare filter running on a tank. I have been in that spot it sucks......
