what is this cichlid?

i seen the little 1 at petco and the big 1 at petsmart. i think they are the same.

an ob of some kind is my guess.

ob trewasse female would be my guess. The males are usally blue not calico like the females

This fish has a broad body, Labeotropheus trewavasae usually are elongated with slender bodies...and they are rare...so I doubt petsmart and petco would carry them, these are the more common Labeotropheus fulleborni.

It's Labeotropheus trewavasae. At least the ones in the first pics. All females are calico of this species and you can actually sex them as soon as they are born.
