| Sometimes those charts are not correct. I have mixed some Angels in my tank, abd once they got the pecking order in place, no fights what so ever. Its alll about territory. | |

your tang is attacking your butterfly. those little white barbs on the side for the yellow tangs tail are razor sharp and are for defense and also for attacking other fish. basically you already have a big no-no as it is with the yellow tang in a 55 (or any tang in a 55 for that matter) tangs get large and it is not recommended that you keep them in tanks under 100 gallons. second, your brittle star green? if so i would get rid of it or your perc, green brittle stars are fish eaters. |

| ok well thank for the info. ya he is green and has not ate any fish yet. im doing a pretty good job tryning to have bigger fish than he can take down (like chromies) and i do have a 100 gal tank in storage i just do no have to room to set it up, so i made sure to get small fish so they do have time to grow. i did have the size of these fish in mind when i got them and made sure i had time to let them grow. but lord do you think that yellow tank will calm down since the butterfly just went in today? thanks for any info |
