| I would hear a thump at night and woke up to find my 3 ft arrowana splashing on the ground . Would have to pick him up and throw him back in the tank. They are slimy. | |

| my silver aro is about 2' right now, eats cichlid staple, Hikari food sticks and massivore. Sometime crayfish and the occasional new tankmate if I did not get one that is big enough. I currently have 2 red hook silver dollars (had 4) about 4-5 " each, 2 black belt silver dollars 6-8" each, peacock bass 5", jack dempsey 5", leoporitus 10", red terror 14", red devil 16", irridesent shark 2', jardini 14", lace catfish 2', watermelon pleco, blue phantom pleco. All living semi peacefully in my 280 gallon tank. | |

| my father and I had a huge one. It was in a 100 Gal tank. and he was a good foot long or more. anyways, we had a board with a cynder block on it and he still smashed threw it and died... crazy bastard... | |

| one time my 14" endli bichir got out of the tank one night at like 4 in the mourning and landed in a big tupe-a-ware and it woke me up, dont really have to worry about them as much as fish though. i made my own tops and he hit the door for it going for a gold fish | |
