well when you are ready for salt i will be more than happy to help with advise, also you could actually convert one of those fres tanks to salt (i would opt to do this with the bowfront)

We bought our first tank I believe sometime in February. It was for my wife - basically a Valentines thing, if I recall. I, however, some began to take it over. A general community tank with Balas and Guppies eventually become the tank above.

Current Occupants:
3x Kenyi (1 Male, 2 Female)
1x Melanochromis auratus (Male)
4x Yellow Labs - Labidochromis caeruleus (At least 1 male, I believe)
4x Metriaclima Esterae
3x Labeotropheus trewavasae - Maleri (1 Male, 2 Female)
3x Syndontis (2 Different breeds)
1x Common Pleco

what type of lighting is that? I prefer the lighter yellow lights compared to the flourescent ones.

They are technically florescents - though they certainly are not pure white light. I personally prefer cleaner bulbs as you see more of the true colors in the tank. The majority of the bulbs in our house produce more of a yellow light, though and so that is likely even more so reflected in the tank.

However, our 50 Gallon, which I will toss up a little later - DOES have a clean white bulb and I don't believe the pics of that have been really affected by the light outside the tank.

looks to me like the bulbs have are 6500k with the yellow glow.

i just dont need it, nor do i need this 10 gallon either, or the hot tub shell. what i would like to do is get a 100 to 150 gallon tank but due to space it would have to be a 4 foot lon tank and i would prefer wider over taller meaning i would have to order a custom one. basically i want to get rid of them to put funds (or the items i get in trade ) into the 90 gallon i have.

nope the lion fish died of natural causes. when i got him he was like 2.5 to 3" long, when he died he was like 9 to 10.5 " long (he was a big one LOL)

he would drop his poisonous dorsal spines and allow me to pet on him the whole time i had him, no one else could get that close to him
