balloon molly

hi i just started this new forum.

i was wondering that is it normal the a balloon molly follows ur finger, i hav 2 femals and and 3 males, i dont kno how i got more males than females but. my big female likes to follow my finger its really cute. my 3 balloon mollies that i start out wit r 2 females and my male which r named the golden girls and earl, my big of course follows my finger my male sometimes to but not as much. is it normal r they just started to get used me.

Completely normal.

Very normal, all mollys are finger followers. My sail fin mollys like to peck at my hands when I an doing tank maintenance, I even catch them with my hands when I need to move them.

mkay i started my tank bout a month and a half ago. well i hav 3 dalmation mollies, 7 balloon mollies 7 skirt tetras(the ones that are long finned), 3 red long skirted tetras, 3 swordtails, 3 platys and a pleco. thats all i can fit in my tank without crowding, its a 55g, i really new at this as i had only goldfish. i used to break and train horses but once i got trampled and stepped on my back that i had to quit and now i hav nothin to do, so i started my first tank. give me anythin i need to know especially their personalities, bc i worry that somethings wrong. unfortuantly my cat has a tendency to try to catch them as i found a wet cat wen i got home, wat should i do bout that.
