just bought my first cichlid

hey guys im tim. im new to the server and to cichlids. i just bought my first one but the ladie and the fish store couldnt tell me what kind it was. i got him cus i thought it was the best looking fresh water fish ive seen. and now i wanna get him a bigger tank and some friends. but i wanna do some research on him first.


this isnt MY fish. i think my one yearold daughter threw my camera in the trash. so this is the best pic i could find.

i would get some fish from the members if i were u.
usally better quality, disease free, and way cheaper. also they know what they are selling unlike alot of fish stores.

Several of the Peacocks look similar to each other.

Could be a german red b/c a bunch of stores do sell them. But ya never know.

Peacocks are one of my favorites and the Red ones are very high on that list.
