| Angelfish in my experience grow slowly compared to many other fish. I have some that are 5 months old and a little bigger then that but it has just as much to do with genetics. Different strains grow much faster and often times larger then others. Such as many veils/super veils will have smaller body size then a standard fin fish. | |

| These are part altum so I was expecting them to be big. I don't think they'll ever get big (it seems like) but maybe I'll eventually cross them with a larger bodied veil angel. | |

| It is really not uncommon for them to grow for well over a year. They are slow at growing but I would say somewhere short of 2 years they will be all done and from that point on they just fill out and get that bulky look the really big ones have. | |

| I hope I'm saying it right: Pinoy Rio Negro Altums The reason I bought them is because their parents were the most incredible angels I've EVER seen. Drop dead gorgeous & I'm hoping these guys will eventually look like them. | |

I have wanted those ever since he listed them. They are really incredible looking. If I had the money I'd have them. Are you going to get some?

He also used to sell some stunning veil half blacks, almost ordered them a few months ago but was told not to by another breeder. It's also scarry to order from someone you don't know. If you get doa's then you have to pay shipping all over again for replacements.

I don't know of anyone who has bought the spotted angels for 65 yet. The ones I have in the pic and video cost a lot more than 65 and that was for an order of 6. He sent extras but I had doa's in the shipment.

| Very interesting fish. Its a cross of a silver with a zebra lace. Parents appear to be a smokey ans light zebra lace. Angels fish grow very fast if given the right food and conditions. Eggs to nickel size bodies in 10 weeks and breeders in 9 months. DD blacks are very slow growers. If you want black angel that is not what you want. Shipping angels is really easy with very few deaths per 1000s. Are far as them being Altums. They are not. Altums are silvers and have a strange mouth. The only color of angel in the wild is a silver. | |

| I have 5 DD Blacks that I got from Strikingthematch that have grown very fast since I got them a few months ago. I feed them lots of different frozen food, flake food and pellets. | |

| Yeah different strains grow at varied speeds. It is always fun to watch them grow. Mine all get fed very well. Once they get to quarter + size they really take off and keep growing fairly well. Compared to some other fish their rate of growth is slower but still impressive. | |
