| Ok so my Angels are spwaning again right now. The problem is that not all the eggs a sticking to the floor slate tile that I have in there for them. Is this normal that some fall off or is the slate to smooth? | |

| Your slate is to smooth. Eggs should stick. | |

| Oh dang. Well after this spawning I'll have to put in something else. Will they stick better to a PVC pipe? | |

| mine always spawned on the filter tube, so i put my extra tube from my emp 400 in there and they spawned on that like crazy with no problem. pvc would work but mine never did it on a curved surface | |

| Mine stick great to PVC.
I have had bad batches of eggs that just fall off but even those normally still stick but just grow fungus.
Slate must just be a little to slick for them, which seems odd considering they stick to PVC just fine but who knows haha. | |

| If you can find roofing slate and cut it down to size that will work. PVC will work and take some sand paper to it to rough it up a little. That will help. If you feed your angel good they will spawn again in 7 days. Good luck next time. | |

| This spawn is exactly 14 days from the first one. They get fed a huge variety of foods. | |

| Yeah, every pair is different. 7-14 days seems pretty normal to me. My main pair spawns every 10 days like clock work but she also lays huge batches. My other pair will spawn every 7 days but her batch is nearly half the size as the other. My third pair is still forming so we will have to see. | |

| Now I'm waiting for the Blacks I got from you to do something but they are a little younger too. Bigger but younger . I also have a batch of 6 day old Betta fry that are the grandchildren of my avatar boy. | |
