Not sure exactly what this is. The guy I got it from identified it as a type of deep water hap. When it is fully colored it is very dark with a light strip across the top. When it isn't colored up it has 3 dark spot down its side. These arent the best pics but may get me an answer. Thanx for any help in advance.

it's not a copadichromis azureus.... ........maybe a mloto

Not sure... may need more pics. Looks like a Victorian of some sort. Maybe Haplachromis...or maybe a hybrid os some sort.

Definitely Copadichromis spp
I would not rule out Azureus as if they are unhappy, they are quite dark. Get a decent pic of him.

The first pic it looks like a Otoph. lithobates ...the lil blaze that is developing in pic 3 kinda verifies that as well....although, the color is a little dark.
It could be a cross, with perhaps a m'loto, or a copad. melas.....just my 2 cents.
